This recipe uses infused caramel to infuse your popcorn. You can substitute the caramel recipe below for cannabis infused agave caramel. To make this recipe you will need the following items and ingredients:
Kitchen Tools & Items:
-Large pot for popping the popcorn (or popcorn machine)
-Pot for Caramel sauce
-Sheet Pan for Caramel Corn
-Spatula (Preferably rubber, wood will be ruined by the Caramel Corn)
Ingredients:
Butter
Canna-Butter
Brown Sugar
Baking Soda
Salt
Dark Corn Syrup
Vanilla Bean Paste
Popcorn
Pretzels
Raisins (optional)
Parchment Paper
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Steps:
Preheat oven to 250ºF
Pop Popcorn in the microwave or pot (or even better a popcorn machine)and set it aside.
Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil without stirring for 4 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Prepare for it to grow like CRAZY!
Pour a thin stream into the pot of popcorn, stirring to coat as you do so.
Pour and spread popcorn over a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
