Quarantine Kitchen: Infused Honey Roasted Almonds

Welcome to my Quarantine Kitchen! Join me as I make infused honey roasted almonds using Shoogies. Super simple and quick recipe to make a tasty elevated snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds

  • 1/4 cup granulated Shoogies

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 2 tablespoons Shoogies Agave

  • 2.5 teaspoons grapeseed oil

  • 2.5 tablespoons water

  • pinch cinnamon powder OR Culinary Cannabis Cinnamon

STEPS

  1. Measure 2 cups of whole almonds and place them on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  2. Place the baking sheet in a cold oven and then switch it on and bake at 350°F for 15 mins.

  3. Roast the almonds, shaking the pan every 5 mins in between till they are fragrant and roasted.

  4. Combined Shoogies and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

  5. Meanwhile in a wide pan combine Shoogies Agave, honey, cinnamon, oil and water and bring it to boil on medium heat.

  6. Add almonds into the boiling mixture and stir.

  7. Cook till all the liquid is absorbed by the almonds, this takes around 5 minutes.

  8. Remove the almonds from stovetop and transfer them into a bowl.

  9. Pour the Shoogies-salt mixture over the almonds, stir to coat all almonds.

  10. Transfer the almonds to a parchment paper and let them dry completely.
